Loudspeaker: The three p.m. train for (inaudible) is now departing from Track 13. All aboard, please.
Jane: Did you hear what he said?
Nadia: No. But it must be the train for Brighton. I think it's the only one that leaves at 3:00. Come on. Let's hurry,
Jane: Whew! We just made it. What time do we get to Brighton?
Nadia: About 5:30, I think. Here. Want some cookies?
Jane: Yeah, sure.
Man: Excuse me? Is this seat taken?
Nadia: No, it's not. Please sit down.
Nadia: Jane, do you recognize him?
Jane: What do you mean?
Nadia: Don't you know who he is?
Jane: No. Who?
Nadia: Elvis Presley.
Jane: You're out of your mind.
Nadia: No, really. It must be him. I'd recognize that hairstyle anywhere. And he's got a guitar.
Jane: He can't be Elvis.
Nadia: Why not?
Jane:Nadia, get real. I know some crazy people think Elvis is still alive, but I can't believe you're one of them. Besides, this man has a British accent.
Nadia: So what? Elvis is very talented.
Jane:But even if he wear Elvis which is totally ridiculous hewouldn't be traveling on an English train.
Nadia: Why not?
Jane: Just because he wouldn't. Anyway, I know one way to find out. Let's ask him.
Nadia: You can't just ask him! That would be really rude.
Jane: No, it wouldn't. . . . Excuse me, sir?
Jane: Um, this is going to sound really loony, but my friend thinks that. . . um . . . you look just like Elvis Presley, and. . . .
Man: Elvis Presley? You flatter me. But no, I'm not Elvis. Actually, other people have said the same thing—that I resemble Elvis.
Jane: Oh, I'm sorry. You must think we're crazy.
Man: Not at all. . . . Hmm. Judging from your accent, I'd say you girls must be from America. Am I right?
Nadia: Yes, we are.
Man: Are you on a bit of a holiday, then?
Nadia: Yes. We're going to Brighton. Are you going to Brighton too?
Man: Brighton? No. I'm going to Manchester. Brighton is in the South.
Jane: Manchester? Oh, no! This must not be the right train.
What are we going to do?
Man: Well, when we stop in Birmingham you can change trains. Meanwhile, why don't you tell me a little about your trip? Are you having a good time in England?
